Dr. Rebekah Reyes Adams
Welcome to MetaBloom Wellness, where compassionate presence is met with inquiry. Clients often share I bring a quiet wisdom to session. While my education and experience provide a strong clinical foundation, they only take me as far as where your story begins. My role is to bring curiosity, perspective, and evidence-informed guidance as we make sense of the whole picture together. I am not afraid to play and have fun, but at the core I know there is a sacredness to the work we do in therapy.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, raised in California and a Kansas transplant. For over a decade, I’ve walked alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and discover new ways to grow and heal. My passion is in helping people reconnect with their strengths, build healthier relationships, and find hope in places that may feel stuck or overwhelming.
My background includes working in community mental health, primary care, and higher education. I believe in caring for all elements of you, not just what’s emotional or relational but also looking at your physical wellbeing. Lasting change comes when all parts of our lives are supported. This can look like collaborating with your healthcare providers, reviewing evidence for how nutrition and sleep can support mental health, and understanding the cycles that chronic stress play in your physical well-being.
I earned my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kansas State University and have training in working with couples and families managing Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, couples coping with chronic medical conditions, and chronic pain. I utilize a wide variety of clinical tools and individualize the care I provide to the specific client. I’ve also completed training in EMDR and TF-CBT for trauma care, and metabolic psychiatry which involve incorporating nutritional interventions for mental health. This allows me to bring innovative, whole-person perspectives into my work.
